I'm currently thinking about a rewrite of the electric chair punishment. To be honest, the way it works at the moment, there is a small problem. Since the punishment consist of one long continuous stimulus, the nervs do adjust quite quickly, so the pain will go away after a few seconds. This is a common problem with estim (and save powerlevels).
So I'm expermentig right now with new soundfiles to deliver more a set of very quick, powerful impulses for a given time. This way the nerves will have less chance to adjust to the stimulus and it will remain very painfull / stressfull over the whole time.
Also the max. possible time you can get is in my opinion much to short to be "the most painful" punishment in courtroom. To receive 30 or more propper canestrokes or to endure the backpain of 50 Minutes in the pillory is in my oppinion much worse. A minute in the electric chair is quickly over. So I'm thinking about something like a set of applied shocks. Like "You are sentenced to receive five sets of 10 shocks each over a timeperiod of 20 minutes." Number of sets and shocks per set dependen on the serverity of course. I know, this would destroy the "real electric chair" experience a little, since in the real deal there would initially also just one strong shock. But in the real deal they don't have to care about safety
I, personaly can only speak about my experience with the ET312B box. But, since this unit does reach the maximum safe possible levels, I think the behavior with an 2B box will be the same. Okay, if the signal is generated by the ET312 itself and not via audio, it can be slightly more powerful. This is why I also experiment with different audio wave forms to find the "optimum" for pain. Maybe it will be neccessary to adapt the audio setup in courtroom to be able to differentiate between 2B and ET312 boxes to deliver in both cases the best possible experience. I also thought of implementing something like a "pain slave mode" where the serverity will be dramatically increased. This option switchable of course. I guess, cgut tried to implement something like this with the probation and serial offender programm.
