Latest update adds extra warnings mainly for Level 4 - But some people are still running the version from over a week ago with a bug in it that causes the script to crash halfway through... Hope you get the hint of how important it is to run the latest version. The version uploaded today has already had a pass on level 4 so know it works ok

Technical question for any that know.
closeups and standing fully in front of a webcam isnt easy if you dont see yourself standing or sitting.
opening up a vidcap or amcap window next to the script so you can see if your in the picture make the script not see the webcam view at all.
probably since its in use of the capture window.

to set the webcam so when going from close up to full body you can use the capture window from the webcam software to test if its viewing the right area so at least you can sit or stand knowing you will be in the picture.
but before you then press the scripts button to proceed [ie your ready for a webcamshot] you must close the webcam view software.
so from that moment you must hope your still in the right position as again you cant see what the lens sees.

is there any other way through software so you can view in a window what the webcam sees without the script the not seeing the webcam and thus ending the script because it thinks your cheating.

this goes for any script that ask for webcam to be present and operating.

Yes this is a problem - thats why I got the people moderating the Jen script to be people who have done it, hopefully they will let you off if it looks like you tried

I have not run the script myself for a couple of weeks but I have tried to add a bit of feed back of pictures being taken as it goes along so I don't think you you should be too far off the mark You can also use the webcam check at the start to see how different positions look from your webcam you can say you are not happy with the picture as much as you like and it will not fault you

Tried using splitcam software. as it works with a lot of webcam involving programs
[it creates a virtual webcam source that shows what your webcam is seeing, can then be opened by multiple programs so it doesnt lock the video source to 1 program]
but somehow it then gives a black screen in ss.
probably because you cant choose a webcam video source in ss settings.
so gave up but found out my webcam driver didnt work properly anymore lol.
spend hour trying find the right driver online as per usual i ehm misplaced my driver cd

so taking your advice, open webcam prog.. peek if im in the picture, shut down webcam prog and just wing it in ss.

must stop complicating things myself lol

[btw , reading about your 'pet peeve' about profile pics missing from users on fetlife , looks like on ss website its even worse in the profile pic dept.
so figure id follow example and made one too ]

Todays update
Todays update allows for a verification code to be stored on completion of the script.. This may be used (level 2 or above) if you wanted to check if you passed or failed without needing to check fetlife. This will also be required to run "Jennifer has fun" to prove that you have completed the script (pass or fail) without cheating...

If you used the latest version no.. the verification is for Jennifer not you and may take 24 hours to become valid after completing the script But I may put a bit at the start of the Jen script so if you have completed it before it will show you if the server thinks you have passed, failed or cheated with the stored verification code.

OK with the latest version once you have gone though the level selection instead of the second warning (only if you have completed the script level 2 or above) it will now check what status you have on the server and will display:

• Pass
• Fail
• Cheat
• Pending

Obviously "Jennifer has fun" will only work if you got a "Pass" or "Fail" and the server keeps a note of your level so you don't need to tell her again how far she can go if you fuck up
