I keep getting the message " We are having trouble connecting to the server" when I try to connect. When, on rare occasion, I do log in I never get a task. Is there something I am doing wrong? How do I get a Mistress? I am new to this so I need some info or direction on how to make this work.

john, that sounds like you have some sort of block on your internet connection stopping the script accessing the server - a firewall maybe?. The script does a quick version check at the start (as it's critical that you are not running a really old version) and if it can't get the latest version number you get the error its reporting..

I could tell you how to bypass that but the script needs a solid connection to the server to get tasks etc so not sure what I can suggest if you don't have control over your internet connection to change firewall settings etc

I'm really excited to try this, but whenever I ask for today's task i get an error message saying "Error java.lang.NullPointerException: Cannot invoke method tokenize() on null object"

Any help would be appreciated I have no idea what I'm doing.

Looks like I have missed something in my error checking - will have a look over it again and maybe do an update today.. Can I ask: are you in chastity or not allowed to cum at the moment? just handy to know to get my head round whats happening

I'm not in chastity, but I was refused permission to cum yesterday. Today I am allowed but I still got the same error both before and after asking permission.

EDIT: After messing around with the profile section on the basis that maybe i'd messed up somehow without realizing i noticed that whenever it tries to take my profile picture despite taking and displaying a picture it says "there was a problem, uploading image". The first time i saw this it was after i'd rejected one image so i assumed it was uploading the second automatically but it appears after accepting the first attempt as well so maybe this is an issue with connecting to the thing?

Ok, have uploaded a new version that should catch errors with null values in tasks - if you get caught by this error it should return an error and task number.

My computer is doing funny things just now so I will leave it till tomorrow before I try and reproduce the problem anyway.

I tried a couple of times and no matter what the task number I kept getting Error 4324

This one is stumping me Have put some more checks into the script but the error is not making sense for me at all, should not get a null there! - I've uploaded a new version that should now give the error with a Task number and a "force code" can I get both of them please (I know its doing it with different tasks but any number its doing it with is good). I have also put in some more checks so hope it does not come to that...

Not sure if you have done this already but can you also check your toys and clothes values are correct in sexscripts and then ask to "edit my profile mistress" in the subcontrol script.

Failing this I may need you to pm me your sub code - don't worry i will send you a script to clear your old uploaded images first

Okay I tried again and got the message: "Error - invalid task format: 4524 task 73 force -1"

I tried a couple more times getting the same message but for task numbers 49, 90 and 1. I'd assume whatever's not working it's not specific to a task as I've not been able to do a single task so far.

I've tried editing my profile but it doesn't seem to make a difference. I don't know if it should retain information like preferred name and number of tasks I can complete in a week (I mean obviously it should retain that information in general) but those field are always blank when editing the profile. I don't know if that is relevant or a even a problem. Also I edited this into a previous post but in case you missed it but when taking a profile picture it always says "there was a problem, uploading image" which I didn't first take for a problem due to context and the comma but I don't know. I'm sorry if it turns out this is all my fault I can't connect to the thing properly.

I also checked the toys and clothes scripts; the information there is accurate and retained. (If you meant anything other than that you'd have to be more specific)

Also again not sure if its a thing or not but when starting sexscripts I identified myself as not female, interested in females and uninterested in males but the subcontrol script insists i refer to it as master.

Wow that has really messed up.. we currently only have 13 male tasks in the system so should not be trying to give you most of those task numbers.. Can't see how it can get to do that without a forced task. Will have another look tomorrow but this has me stumped! anyone else having a similar problem out there?

I've done one more update to try and catch this - but something looks really screwed So would suggest re-downloading the latest version of sexscripts and Subcontrol the fix I've done is not nice but should at least get you working



The sex of your mistress/master should be set by them when they setup their profile (it uses their setting of "not female") If you are using the default mistress it may of got corrupted so will double check that.

I click on the Yes Button and than the program freezes...

That sounds like you may have a webcam issue, can I get you to test to see if its working with the test script or have a look at:
