I've been seeing corrupted images for the last month or so, using both Mac and Windows. I thought it was a dodgy internet connection, but now I'm on a great connection and seeing the same thing: typically the top half of the image loads, and the bottom half is distorted or corrupted. Some images are ok, but at least half are corrupted. Anyone else seeing this?

Yep - I definitely am. Getting Java errors about premature end of stream in the terminal.

I'm seeing it too, both on Linux (Ubuntu16.04) and Windows 10. It seems to be about 75% of the images are corrupt. Makes most of the scripts terrible. Anyone have an idea on a cause or fix? Error message in Linux: Corrupt JPEG data: premature end of data segment

Ok, something is interrupting the stream. Perhaps some changes on the system of the server, or in Java. I still could not reproduce this bug. If you have an example of picture code that is always downloaded as corrupt, let me know, I'll try to download an decode using another method.

Ok, something is interrupting the stream. Perhaps some changes on the system of the server, or in Java. I still could not reproduce this bug.
If you have an example of picture code that is always downloaded as corrupt, let me know, I'll try to download an decode using another method.

Hi @doti, I just PMd you some examples, but just ran into a case where I *know* a picture was fine before, and it's corrupted this time. So, it appears to only be image downloads, and only about 50-60% of the time. Hope this helps.

Yes, it still happens very frequently (almost all the time now). I was using 8.211.11, but it happens on both Mac and Windows, and both systems should be more or less up-to-date on Java version.

Hi @doti, have you had any progress in figuring this out? The images were being served without issue for years...it's really strange that they're all corrupted now. I'm still seeing the issue on both Mac and Windows. Unfortunately, the pictures tend to cut off the lower half, which is typically the most important part!

Hi @doti, have you had any progress in figuring this out? The images were being served without issue for years...it's really strange that they're all corrupted now. I'm still seeing the issue on both Mac and Windows. Unfortunately, the pictures tend to cut off the lower half, which is typically the most important part!
