Okay! Started playing with SexScript today!

First question: when running the 'intro' script, it seems to hang if I say "no" to selecting women's clothes (when asked, after toys). It may do the same if I say "no" to toys, but not sure. A quick glance at the script makes me ask if there should be an 'else' condition of some kind to return to/continue the intro if I said "no" to picking women's clothes? I also noticed that when I say 'yes', it still 'hangs' on the women's clothing screen and doesn't exit the script or finish running the intro.

Second question: are we 'locked' to having women's clothes as the only clothing options? Can there be 'men's clothing' selection/option too? Or - if I can suggest - both combined in one single 'clothing' list (since a lot would be shared, such as jeans, t-shirts, socks, etc.)?

Third question: is there a maximum to the number of toys/clothes that can be in the checkbox lists that you select from? I can think of LOTS I'd like to add, but not sure if there's a limit to what the program can use/display?

Fourth question: can we change, edit or add to the items under 'Options' in the drop-down menu bar? That is, if we wanted to add a 'Change Name' or 'Men's Clothing' or 'Spanking Implements' or 'Name Mistress' option for users to click (that runs a script like I *assume* the current two options run 'toys.groovy' or 'womensclothes.groovy')?

Fifth question: is there a way to make a script run 'automatically' when SexScript is opened? Like the intro script, I mean?

What are you calling "hang" ? It may be the normal end of script, or the software were stopped (white window) ?
To know if a script ended, you may simply look at the title bar at the top. It show the name of the current script running, or only "SexScripts". I know it is not a natural behaviour, I failed for now to find a good solution to say "script as ended" (bringing the background color to the original one ? make it flash ?)

There could have a men clothing but :
- I failed, in other tools/site, to find anything related to some men clothes ; they seems to have a very low erotic value - but I may be wrong, so I would be happy to add one, I'll try to propose a list.
- shared : most clothes seems to be different when for women or men (see : jeans, socks...), and anyway being a separate fetish, so I'd prefer to still have 2 scripts for that.

No, there is no limit ; but these list are useful only if shared by all the scripts and everybody using them. Also, it should be keeps as short as possible, else creating scripts using them will be harder (if(IhaveA)..else if(IhaveB) else if(IhaveC) ..). I do think the better way to manage this would be anyone making some suggestion of addition/replacement on this forum.

I'm afraid the menu can not be modified. Yes, you are right, it only lauch some script. Anyway, like before, it is far better that people share the same menu.

But yes, for 24/24 script for example, it is possible to change the intro script from a script : set("intro.start_script", "myownscript.groovy").

As far as "what should happen when a script finishes"... I like your idea of returning to the 'original' background/colour, at least in the intro script. Perhaps there should be a "default.groovy" script that can be/is run when a script finishes. This would let the user create a more CyberMistress like feel (with their 'default' being a virtual mistress) and those who just want to use SexScript to run scripts could leave their 'default' script as something basic and simple, like "Hello, slave" and a pic... or no picture and a simple "Select a choice from the menu above" message? The included 'default.groovy' script could be as simple as that!

In regards to the specific time I mentioned, what I think it really happening is that it never 'returns' to the intro script after the toys one finishes... giving a feeling of "what do I do now?". Is there a way for a script with multiple files to 'jump' to a place in a file (like CyberMistress could)? As a workaround for the intro now, could the toys and womenclothing scripts end with the same 'Hello XXX' and Mistress/Master picture as the intro script does (if you don't setup toys)? If that isn't clear, I'll script a quick example for you later.


Two separate lists is fine, I think, but it does need a male clothing one. I totally agree there's nothing erotic about men's clothing, though a lady might disagree with me! But I think being able to say what you own/are wearing is important for some scripts (like, for example, being made to put on pajamas/sleepwear, or wear a swimsuit, or just socks and underwear, or asked if wearing boxers or briefs, or wear a nice suit with panties under it!) Etc.

I've actually done a quick example list/script already (like the women's one, but male clothes), below, along with a (placeholder?) image:

I'll happily submit a list of toy 'additions'... I don't mind one big list of toys, but my only worry is that some folks may want more details that others might not care about (example: I want to be able to have several kinds of paddles, whips, canes, etc. but someone not into spanking might not care less!). I can't think of another fetish (beyond spanking and crossdressing... see below for my ideas on separate lists for these) that would need a special/unique 'toy list' devoted to them, but then, I'm a spanko, so I'm admittedly biased!



A way for users to add to that menu (like CyberMistress let us use a configuration file to add items to the 'Tools' menu) would be great.

If not, though, can I suggest a list of scripts I think should be in that list (by that I mean, can be run from the menu directly):
Your Name - eg "Slave", "Banjo", "Doti", etc.
Your Gender - male or female
Toys - as already included
Implements (paddles, whips, crops, etc.) - unless all in the one big list with the above 'toys'
Women's Clothes - as already included
Men's Clothes - as for women's clothing, but male items (see above)
Your Limits - lets user select/set values such as "likes_men", "likes_anal", "likes_spanking", etc.

Again, I'm more than happy to make you some quick script examples of *all* the above (will do so today, in fact, if I get chance).

Finally... would it be too much to suggest that the values being set by the intro script like intro.likesfemales etc. be renamed to setting.likesfemales etc. since "setting." (or maybe "default." if you prefer) seeming more of a universal term and easier to remember if other scripts want to access/use/set these same values? Since these values won't be only used by the intro script?

Oh, totally unrelated and random... but can I just say that I love the colour scheme and look to the forum/website here? Perfect choice!

Cool to hear. It's not a "must have" feature, and it took CyberMistress a long time to add it... but it proved VERY useful for huge scripts when it was possible. Definitely no rush... still a long way to go before I'm proficient enough in Groovy and SexScripts to get to a level where I'm needing this function again!

Toys : it would be possible to ask for "toys.bigpaddle", "toys.shortpaddle", ... (sorry, not specialist), and save for example toys.bigpaddle=true, toys.shortpaddle=true and also in the same time toys.paddle=true.
So can you propose here a list for exampding the actual list in this manner ?

Background color change is in the current release now.
Male clothes : ok, nice, I'll put it in the next release. I'll come back on the other thing afterward.
