Java update killed groovy |

Hello my Java just did an automatic update to 1.8.0_271. When I went to run the sex scripts program I get the following error message. I was wondering if anyone else had the same issues, how to fix, or if we have to wait for a sex scripts update for compatibility. "Groovy Error ! java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: groovy.lang.GroovyShell Helpful System informations to resolve it on the forum : os name: Mac OS X java.version: 1.8.0_271 file.encoding: UTF-8 " Thanks |

I uninstalled 271 and searched the oracle archive for 1.8.161 Installed that and It worked like a charm. Warning-- don't get 271 until SS is updated. |

Will be resolved in a few days if possible. Groovy is stuck in v2 for Android, not sure it will be corrected for this Java release. Fyi, we'll push for some alternative Java releases for user (OpenJDK at least), to mitigate Oracle madness, if possible. |

I have full success with Java 1.8.0_271, but on Windows x64. Perhaps it fails on Mac OSX only ? |

Same type of issue is happening again when I go to open .jar but a little different phrasing. Any fixes? I don't want to be stuck on an older version of java forever...
