I have been checking out SS for a longtime and testing a lot of new scripts. Now I am interested in making my own scripts or contributing to others. Hopefully if I get the time I can start learning groovy soon, although its looks very easy since I already know Java. So that shouldn't be a big problem.

If you know java (especially Java 8), you already know most of Groovy.
