Russia, in may 2013, passed a law (unanimity of the parliament, no less) to condemn (translation) "propaganda of nontraditional sexual relations". Of course its target is the LGBT, who are quite violently repressed right now.

As SexScripts is actively making propaganda of nontraditional sexual relations, you may want to protest, like signing an online petition or no more buying russian alcool (I done both, Zubrovka, here i am !)

I live in Russia and can tell how things are going, if anyone is interested. First of all, SexScripts is absolutely unknown in Russia and I think this is rather good. The legislation in my country is very obscure and unpredictable so anything can be treated illegal if it is noticed. Right now our brave legislators are targeting hentai and a lot of websites are banned for that, even deviantART. The reason is officially "child pornography" but the experts don't really dig into investigation and just block everything they see suspicious.

Fortunately your site has nothing to do with CP. If you concern about BDSM themes then I can assure you that it is still legal - a lot of russian BDSM sites are doing well - they just don't stick out and all require registration. In any case they can't sue you because you are not in Russia and worst they can do is to ban you in russian internet, but you don't seem to be the big threat. So don't worry.

As for my opinion the recent russian laws about "propaganda of nontraditional sexual relations" is a total disaster lobbied by orthodox church wich has drastically increased it's influence in the last decade. I think the government is trying to revive the soviet union times but substituting Marxism with orthodox religious ideology. I have the chills thinking what will be next.

But at least there are ways to outflank the restrictions and that's why we can have nice things like your site. Keep up the good work!
