everytime i try to show a new text, it resets the .gif i have back to 0seconds, so am i not allowed to show new text without resetting a gif?

the gif i set is out of the loop but show() reset the gif as if it is in the loop

It is true ; when the text change, the space available for the image may change also, so in doubt the image is reloaded ; the code could consider a special case, but it would be quite random (depending on the picture, text and scree / Windows size), so I doubt we can do much better.
