ralph333, thanks for finding the problem. I looked at the file names, and missed the problem each time! I have fixed it in new versions (v0.4); it's the only change.

aleksander230, I'm not sure what can be happening. You need to specify each cell of each ship separately. For example, B2 then B3 then B4 for the cruiser. If you don't get them in line (not diagonal), the script will tell you to try again. You cannot type a range of cells as it is difficult to test whether that is a valid ship. I may get round to solving that in a later update, but not soon. The script expects you to know quite a lot about Battleships because it is so easy to find the information on the internet.

Thanks for the updates and the estim version. I can't wait to get the chance to try it out. :)

Now it works.
Calculating take very long for me with defaults. That gives it very high tension if you are hit.

Finally put the file names right (v0.5)!
The time taken will depend on the hardware as well as the settings in the script. I have found that the settings can go much lower, particularly the time setting, without affecting the script's performance too much. It can still beat me.

Love the new script!

It consistently beats me also.

On the estim version, it did catch me by surprise that hitting one of their ships was a worse shock then when they hit yours. LOL. Was this the way it was intended? I have a 2B and wasn't sure.

It certainly made me dread sinking one of theirs! HA

Thanks for the feedback.

There is something I meant to explain about the estim version. The files I included work for me and my machine, but I know that some people find lower frequencies more painful than they come out on my machine. It's also a matter of personal preference.

However, you can put your own files in the folder sounds/BattleshipShock/. The script uses two files Hit.mp3, which plays when you hit a ship, and EnemyHit.mp3, which plays when your enemy hits your ship. Bear in mind that, if you download the script, you should not overwrite any files you may have customised. It's best to keep a backup. Only mp3 files will work.
