While running a script this weekend my computer crashed. Thats not all that uncommon. Its an old PC and I tend to have 20 windows at a time...

What is different is when I rebooted and opened the scripts back up it acted as though I was a brand new user logging in the 1st time. For a lot of scripts that doesnt matter. For Courtroom I now have a clean record again, but for others this is highly annoying. Specifically the SubControl/ControlSub. After months of checking in regularly I was finally picked up by a Mistress (maybe) and given my 1st task. Now ehn I log in Im a new person.

Is there a way to fix this?

Sounds like your data file was corrupted during the crash. It's located in the main "sexscripts" directory and called data.properties. If you can find a way to recover it from pre-crash then you'll be back in business.

Side note - I highly recommend everyone saving their data file periodically just for this reason.

Yes, backups always a good idea.

I've had some crashes where the data.properties file had some garbage lines at the top afterwards but was otherwise OK and after deleting them it was back to normal.

This file could be saved somewhere else in a more common place (a data folder of the system), in order to be included automatically in the usual backup systems, but it may contains too much personnal information to be saved by default for some users.
