Hello everyone, sorry to ask such a basic question, but for the life of me I can't get this from the other documentation/threads. I'd like a script to ask for the name of someone you know. Presently I've attempted this with:



With an attempt to return the name using:



But unfortunately it keeps returning "null" instead of the entered value. Is there something I'm missing?

I'll do this instead :

"def" is a keyword for declaring, creating a variable.
"loadString()" would read something from the data file, it's easier when in memory (in a variable, "c").
