A lot of things about CM imports were corrected in the last monthes (v1.13..v1.3), as Jewel were successfully uploaded aferward. Let me know if anything can be done about your failed attempts.
I started this topic rather than derail the Tania thread, Doti. Hope that's okay.
I gave the latest version of SS another try with CM conversion today, using my old 'Ashley's Advent Countdown' routine.
Conversion process converts:
Code:
setValue=ashley_outfit_AD(Xmas\Xmas1\Ashley_Xmas1_)
to
Code:
save("ashleyadvent.ashley_outfit_AD","Xmas\Xmas1\Ashley_Xmas1_")
... at one point, and then complains about it when I check the script in SS. Changing the \ to / manually in SS's editor stops the error coming up on checking.
The need for that CM "value" was because for Ashley, I used randomized picture loading like this code example:
Code:
picture=AshleyYHBS\#value(ashley_outfit_AD)09.jpg
But obviously the conversion above breaks this, so no images are shown correctly (either it doesn't like my 'wildcard' picture code, or doesn't like the way it converts the 'setValue' lines as shown above). I suspect this is one of the main reasons I've been unable to convert any of my CM stuff to SexScripts so far. Is it possible to fix this? Ashley (at least) is far too big and complex for me to make manual changes to her scripts on this level!
I also noticed a few lines "commented out" by the conversion, such as:
Code:
// partly ignored : flag=ashley_advent_donetoday{date}|ashley_advent_day1
How does this affect the script and how can I fix/avoid this happening?
As well, I get a checking error on
Code:
if(loadInteger("ashley_bjtimer")!<="12") {
(doesn't like the ! it seems), which was converted from the original
Code:
minValue=ashley_bjtimer(12)
Is this a conversion glitch?
I can happily PM you the script I'm trying to convert if that's easier!
