Is there any chance that animated .gif images could be supported someday?

Animated gifs rock! Make like it's the internet in 1999 all over again!

Seriously though, having animated gif support would be a way of scripting 'custom gauges' and such (a ticking click face for a timer, etc.).

Also, being a 'kinky art' fan (of course!), there are some great and sexy animated gif cartoons around.

Gifs already work for Me.
I just use the setImage command, and use a filename of a gif.

For example:
setImage("spiral.gif")
This works on the version i am using, not sure about the latest version though.

You have animation in your gifs? I have transparency, but only the first frame of animated gifs display on the latest (Feb 2013) version I'm using.

I just double checked, and yes i have animation working okay on an earlier version.

Then i downloaded the latest version, and lost animation.

I also found an old script i was working on last year, for a Femdom erotic hypnosis file for Sex Scripts. Having gif's working on that was an essential part of the script. I am glad i didn't delete that old version!!

Then I'll search about it today, I understand why it worked before.

Ok, I found out where the changes occured, the next update of SS, in less than 2 weeks, will support animated GIF files.
